武大郎（即靖王）让潘金莲（即石矶娘娘）把梁子伯和夸父的遗骨送回老家安葬。潘金莲到梁子伯的家乡后打听。当地人说他是个著名的江湖艺人，有很多艺名，例如六小龄童，飞天猫。他还是个江湖大盗，多年前因为盗窃官府仓库被老国王无位真人抓住后，处死了。
Martial Big Wolf (i.e. Jing King) asked
Goldthread Pan (i.e. Queen Stone Jetty) to send the bones of Zibo Liang and Kuafu
back to their hometown for a burial. Goldthread Pan went to Zibo Liang's
hometown to inquire about him, and the locals said that he was a famous street
artist with many stage names, such as “Six Little Spiritual Boy” and “Sky
Flying Cat.” He was also a street robber and was executed many years ago after
being caught by the old king, Upmost Gentleman, for stealing from official
warehouses.
潘金莲想到了他可能是被老国王赦免后迁居到别处了。在传说中，潘金莲到华国皇宫里办事不需要请示任何人，就可以直接找各个部门的负责人办事。她在皇宫的档案库找到了相关的记录，然后拿着记录找元始天尊了。老国王收养武大郎时，元始天尊还是个孩子，但也知道这事。他们俩就找到了许多相关的人，还原了事实的真相。
Goldthread Pan surmised that he might have been
pardoned by the old king and relocated elsewhere. According to legend, Goldthread
Pan could conduct business at the Hua Country Imperial Palace without needing
anyone's permission, addressing matters directly with department heads. She
located relevant records in the palace archives and then presented them to the
Primitive Sky Honor. When the old king adopted Martial Second Wolf, Primitive
Sky Honor was still a child, yet he knew of the matter. Together, they tracked
down numerous individuals connected to the case and pieced together the truth
of what had happened.
这事起源于老国王太上君与礼敬公的换养孩子协议。老国王收养武大郎，礼敬公和妈祖要收养原始天尊的儿子张三郎。当礼敬公和妈祖把儿子武大郎给老国王送来离开后，他就生病了。太医们说，这孩子是邓族人，抚养的方法特殊，我们不知道他们是怎么养孩子的。
This matter originated from an agreement between
the Old King, Extreme Gentleman, and Etiquette
Salutation Publican, to exchange their children. The Old King adopted Martial
Big Wolf, while Etiquette Salutation Publican and Mazu sought to adopt Third
Wolf Zhang, son of Primitive Sky Honor. After Etiquette Salutation Publican and
Mazu delivered their son Martial Big Wolf to the Old King and departed, the boy
fell ill. The imperial doctors declared, “This child is of a Deng clan. His
upbringing requires special methods—we know nothing of their child-rearing
practices.”
老国王派人寻找邓人，发现了江湖艺人六小龄童是一位邓人，他还有个和武大郎类似的儿子。老国王还发现他就是江湖大盗飞天猫，就设法把他抓着了。老国王问他：“我判你死罪，你冤不冤？”
他回答：“不冤！”
The old king sent men to search for the Deng
people and discovered that Six Little Spiritual Boy, a traveling performer, was
one of them. He also had a son resembling Martial Big Wolf. The old king
further discovered that Six Little Spiritual Boy was the notorious bandit Sky Flying
Cat, so he devised a plan to capture him. The old king asked him, “I sentence
you to death. Do you feel wronged?”
He replied, “Not at all!”
老国王说：“你死了，你儿子没人照看，也活不了多久了。我想跟你做个交易。我送你去个地方，在那里你帮我收养个孩子。那个孩子和你儿子同岁，一样高。你要用你自己和你儿子的生命来保护我孩子的周全。我已经许诺我的孩子，我将教他下围棋。当我想教他下围棋的时候，你把孩子送回到我的跟前，你就自由了。”
六小龄童同意了。梁子伯是老国王为六小龄童起的化名。他就带着武大郎去重庆巫毒学院了。
The old king said, "After you die, your son
has no one to care for him. He won't live much longer either. I want to make a
deal with you. I will send you to a place where you will help me raise a child.
That child is the same age as your son and the same height. You must protect my
child's safety with your own life and that of your son. I promised my child
that I would teach him to play Go. When I wish to teach him, you shall bring
the child back to me, and then you shall be free."
Six Little Spiritual Boy agreed. Zibo Liang was
the alias the old king gave Six Little Spiritual Boy. He then took Martial Big
Wolf to the Chongqing Voodoo Academy.

梁子伯到重庆后，不安于贫困，他还继续偷。华国的国王知道后，决定把武大郎接回来。这时，云海国的人也发现了这位梁子伯是一位华国的江湖大盗，就去抓他了。
据传说，华国国王派人去重庆接武大郎返回时，梁子伯决定留下来，说，“如果我也离开，云海国就会派兵追赶，那就全走不了了。”
When Zibo Liang arrived in Chongqing, he was
restless in poverty, and he continued to steal. When the king of Hua found out
about it, he decided to take Martial Big Wolf back. At that time, the people of
Cloud Sea Kingdom also found out that this Zibo Liang was a great thief from
Hua Kingdom and went to arrest him.
According to the legend, when the king of Hua
sent soldiers to Chongqing to fetch Martial Big Wolf back, Zibo Liang decided
to stay, saying, “If I also leave, the Cloud Sea Kingdom will send soldiers to
catch up with me, and then all of us will not be able to leave.”
根据老国王的指示，士兵们要把武大郎装在一个袋子里，背着袋子走，然后把袋子交给元始天尊。原始天尊接到命令的时候已经晚了，路上还耽搁了。到指定的交接地点后，士兵们把袋子打开了，武大郎就跑了。最后，他在返回巫毒学院的时候，被元始天尊设置的网抓住了。
According to the old king's instructions, the
soldiers were to put Martial Big Wolf in a bag, carry the bag on their backs,
and then give the bag to Primitive Sky Honor. Primitive Sky Honor was late when
he received the order and was delayed on the way. When they arrived at the
designated handover place, the soldiers opened the bag, and Martial Big Wolf
ran away. In the end, he was caught in the net set up by Primitive Sky Honor
when he returned to Voodoo Academy.
原始天尊骗武大郎：“咱爹病了，快死了。你喜欢巫毒学院，等咱俩跟咱爹见最后一面后，你再回来。”
武大郎就信了。
老国王认为这个换养孩子的计划需要改变，必须把武大郎送还礼敬公夫妇，培养他和生父母的感情，否则他就不能接受他的亲生父母了。本故事就回到了本书的开篇，1.1《武大郎认母》。
Primitive Sky Honor lied to Martial Big Wolf:
“Our father is sick and dying. You like the Voodoo Academy, so you can come
back after we meet our father for the last time.” And Martial
Big Wolf believed it.
The old king decided that this plan of exchanging
children needed to be changed, and that Martial Big Wolf had to be returned to
Etiquette Salutation Publican and Mazu to cultivate a father-son and mother-son
bond, otherwise he would not be able to accept his real parents. This story
brings us back to the beginning of the book, 1.1 “Martial Big Wolf Recognizes
Mother”.

潘金莲一打听，梁子伯和夸父在家乡已经没有后人了，觉着把他们俩埋在家乡已经没什么意义了。她就自己找了个地方，把他们俩埋在嵩山（少林寺）的山里了。她对武大郎说：“等咱俩退休了，咱俩就去那儿住，给他们俩上香。”
Goldthread Pan found out that Zibo Liang and
Kua’fu had no descendants in his hometown and felt that burying them in their
hometown was meaningless. So, she found a place and buried them in the
mountains of Songshan (Shaolin Temple). She said to Martial Big Wolf:
"When we retire, we will live there and burn incense for them."
元始天尊一打听，嵩山（少林寺）那个地方，荒山秃岭的，就说：“埋在那样一个荒无人烟的地方，多寒碜呐！那我送给你们俩一座庙吧，名字是少林寺（如图2）！我得声明，以后你们俩的靖王封赏就没有了，免得别的将军有意见。”
When Primitive Sky Honor inquired about the place
where Songshan (Shaolin Temple) was located, he found it to be a barren
mountain, so he said, "It will be so shabby to be buried in such a
deserted place! Then I will give you a temple named Shaolin Temple (figure 2)!
I must declare that you two will no longer be awarded the title of Jing King in
the future, in order to avoid objections from other generals."
少林的少字意思是武大郎和潘金莲是一对儿童子佛。林字是尊称。于是少林寺就成为了孙姓和邓姓人的祖庙；武大郎和潘金莲就成为了孙姓和邓姓人的祖宗。
In Chinese, Shaolin means “Young Grove.” The
character Young means that Martial Big Wolf and Goldthread Pan are a pair of
Boy and Girl Buddha. Grove is an ancient honorific for a sage. So, Shaolin
Temple became the ancestral temple of the Sun and Deng families, and Martial
Big Wolf and Goldthread Pan became the ancestors of people with the surnames
Sun and Deng.
随后，当武二郎成为天蓬元帅后，指定少林寺为中国人学习 “宝莲灯”
的地方。就这样，在随后的三千六百多年里，少林寺是阐教圣地。
Later, when Martial Second Wolf became Celestial
Ceiling Marshal, he designated Shaolin Temple as the place where Chinese
learned the "Treasury Lotus Lamp." Thus, for over 3600 years, Shaolin
Temple was the sacred site of Meditation Sect.
