大禹在监狱里听说尘香（即卢堂左）和尘凡（即卢堂右）起兵造反了，主动请愿去平叛。舜王（即还没称帝的顺皇）释放了大禹，让他去平叛了。大禹率领军队到达卢堂左的驻地后，就一个人走进了卢堂左的司令部。
卢堂左没看大禹就问士兵：“商朝就派一个人来？”
While imprisoned, Big Yu heard that Dust-scent (aka. Hall-left Lu) and Dust-mortal (Hall-right Lu) had raised an army in rebellion. He volunteered to suppress the uprising. King Shun (Emperor Shun, the future White-king Creator Shun) released Big Yu and sent him to quell the rebellion. Upon arriving at Hall-left Lu's encampment with his troops, Big Yu walked alone into Hall-left Lu’s command headquarters.
Without acknowledging Yu, Hall-left Lu asked his soldiers, “Did the Shang Dynasty send only one man?”
士兵回答：“本来和他一起来的还有另外两个人；把他送到这儿后，那俩人回去了！”
卢堂左叨咕：“没瞧起我们！把这个人绑到外面的柱子上，今天本将军要亲自挖出他的心给那女人送回去！”
The soldier replied, “Originally, two others came with him; after delivering him here, those two went back!”
Hall-left Lu muttered under his breath, “They don't think much of us! Tie this man to the pillar outside. Today, this general will personally rip out his heart and send it back to that woman!”
大禹被卫兵推到了外面，绑到了柱子上，一言没发。卢堂左跟了出来，摘掉了遮住一只眼的眼罩，大声问：“水凉不凉？不凉挖出的心不新鲜！”
有士兵回答着；大禹仍然没出声。
卢堂左解开了大禹的衣服，向他的胸口泼凉水。然后他拿着匕首比划着心脏的位置。大禹仍然没出声。卢堂左叨咕：“你怎么不求我不杀你？”他一抬头，假装认出了大禹，赶忙说：“是大禹叔叔来了，你怎么不说句话呢！赶紧进屋，外面热！”
Big Yu was pushed outside by the guards and bound to a pillar, not uttering a word. Hall-left Lu followed him out, removed the blindfold covering one eye, and shouted, “Is the water cold? If it's not cold, the heart won't be fresh when it's dug out!”
Soldiers answered him; Big Yu remained silent.
Hall-left Lu unfastened Big Yu's clothes and splashed cold water onto his chest. Then he held a dagger, gesturing toward the heart's location. Big Yu remained silent. Hall-left Lu muttered, “Why won't you beg me not to kill you?” He looked up, feigning recognition of Big Yu, and hurriedly exclaimed, “Uncle Big Yu has arrived! Why haven't you said a word? Hurry inside—it's hot out here!”

进到大堂后，卫兵端来了水果和蜂蜜。大禹不说话，不吃也不喝。卢堂左思考着，叨咕：“大禹叔叔今天心情不好！那您到里面休息吧，别人不会打搅！”大禹跟这卢堂左进入了休息室，说：“跟我回去！”
卢堂左没听明白，叨咕：“我跟你回去哪里，去下野的监狱吗？现在她（即舜王，嫘祖）把你放出来了；我们就把她抓起来，关在下野。然后由您来当皇帝！”
Upon entering the main hall, guards brought fruit and honey. Big Yu remained silent, neither eating nor drinking. Hall-left Lu pondered, then muttered, "Uncle Big Yu, you seem to be in a bad mood today! Why don't you go inside and rest? No one will disturb you!" Big Yu followed Hall-left Lu into the rest room, saying, "Come back with me!"
Hall-left Lu didn't understand, muttering, "Where am I going with you? To the prison in Xiaye? Now that she's released you, we'll arrest her (i.e., King Shun, Lei Ancestor) and imprison her in Xiaye. Then you'll become emperor!"
大禹回答：“胡闹！我是共工，不造反！我从来没想过要当国王！”
卢堂左开始给大禹讲他这个军事基地的防务和粮食储备，以及抓住舜王的策略。大禹不说话了，不吃饭也不喝水。
Big Yu replied, "Nonsense! I am Gonggong (i.e., public works), I don't rebel! I've never thought of becoming king!"
Hall-left Lu began to explain to Big Yu the defenses and food reserves of his military base, as well as his strategy for capturing King Shun. Yu fell silent, refusing to eat or drink.

第二天早上，秀才，跤手，和他们那三十几个兄弟开始向卢堂左抗议了：“我们造反是签了合同的。现在大禹被释放了，我们造反的目的已经达到了，就应该着手解决后续的问题，给我们安排退路。你在干什么？”
卢堂左回答：“不着急！我听说佛（即大禹，伏羲）这种人可以吃蜡把肠子封起来，能不吃不喝地活20多天！”
秀才生气地大叫：“住手！天气这么热！一天就脱水，中暑了！他肯定活不过一天半，现在就已经危险了！”
The next morning, Scholar, Wrestler, and their thirty-odd brothers began protesting to Hall-left Lu: "We signed a contract to rebel. Now that Uncle Big Yu has been released, our goal has been achieved, and we should be addressing the aftermath and arranging a way out for us. What are you doing?"
Hall-left Lu replied, "No rush! I've heard that people like Buddha (Big Yu, Fuxi) can eat wax to seal their intestines and live for over 20 days without food or water!"
Scholar angrily shouted, "Stop! It's so hot! He'll be dehydrated and suffer heatstroke in just one day! He won’t live more than a day and a half; he's already in danger!"
卢堂左问：“他说他是共工，不造反！共工是什么？”
秀才回答：“共工是什么？我爷爷是举例子来回答的。共工是盧，颅，庐，巖，黒，等。盧是世界的开始；巖是地层深处的支撑。共工就是盧巖，是这个世界的聚合力。”
Hall-left Lu asked, "He said he is Gonggong and will not rebel! What is Gonggong?"
Scholar replied, "What is Gonggong? My grandfather answered with examples. Gonggong is Lu (盧, Theist world), Lu (颅, Head), Lu (庐, House), Yan (巖, Bedding rock), Black, etc. Lu (盧, Theist world) is the beginning of the world; Yan (巖, bedding rock) is the support deep in the earth. Gonggong is Lu Yan, the cohesive force of this world."
卢堂右听后感慨地说：“哎呀！我们卢家屯那个家的父亲名叫卢岩（盧巖）！”
秀才回答：“那可能你们家的祖上有过佛！”（注，家谱上的名字是循环使用的，例如我们家的家谱上就有卢堂左和卢堂右。）
Upon hearing this, Hall-right Lu exclaimed, "Oh dear! The father of our family in our Lu Family Village is named Lu Yan!"
Scholar replied, "Perhaps one of your ancestors was a Buddha.” (Note: Names in family genealogies are used cyclically; for example, our family genealogy lists Hall-left Lu and Hall-right Lu.)
At that moment, Big Yu fell from the windowsill.
这时大禹从窗台上摔下来了。众人都跑进了大禹的房间。大禹连忙说：“没事儿，我不小心睡着了，就从窗台上摔下来了。”
卢堂右把大禹推了个趔趄，叫骂着：“你他妈地不吃饭，整出事来比我们造反犯的罪都大！”他要过去打大禹。卢堂左过去就把他拽开了，回手打了他一巴掌。卢堂右捂着脸，哭着叫嚷：“你打我！”
Just then, Big Yu tumbled from the windowsill. Everyone rushed into his room. Yu quickly said, “It's nothing. I accidentally fell asleep and fell from the windowsill.”
Hall-right Lu shoved Yu, sending him stumbling. “You damn fool!” he yelled. “You don't eat, and now you cause trouble worse than any crime we rebels have committed!” He lunged to hit Yu. Hall-left Lu grabbed him and pulled him away, then slapped him across the face. Hall-right Lu clutched his face, wailing, “You hit me!”
卢堂左指着他说：“你若再对大禹叔叔无礼，我还打你！”
卢堂右哭着跑出去了。
大禹害怕了，开始吃饭。然后他对卢堂左说：“我没事！你去看看你弟弟！”
Hall-left Lu pointed at him and said, “If you're rude to Uncle Big Yu again, I'll beat you again!”
Hall-right Lu ran out crying.
Big Yu grew frightened and began eating. Then he said to Hall-left Lu, “I'm fine! Go check on your brother!”
跤手从外面进来了，询问情况，然后对卢堂左使眼色并且说：“我去找卢堂右聊聊；你回去陪大禹叔叔说话吧！”
大禹意识到他被卢堂右骗了，放下饭碗，生气地对卢堂左说：“你有什么诉求？赶紧说，否则我不吃了！”
Wrestler came in from outside, inquired about the situation, then winked at Hall-left Lu and said, "I'm going to talk to Hall-right Lu; you go back and keep Uncle Big Yu company!"
Big Yu realized he had been tricked by Hall-right Lu, put down his rice bowl, and angrily said to Hall-left Lu, "What do you want? Speak up now, or I won't eat!"

卢堂左向大禹述说了谈判的诉求：无罪赦免其他的人，然后卢堂左和卢堂右听从大禹的安排。

Hall-left Lu conveyed the negotiation demands to Big Yu: grant a pardon to the others without charge, after which Hall-left Lu and Hall-right Lu would comply with Big Yu arrangements.
Big Yu agreed.
Hall-left Lu arranged for Hall-right Lu to accompany Big Yu to negotiate with King Shun and witness King Shun signing the pardon decree.
卢堂右跟随大禹来到了皇宫。谈判的地点是一个空房间只有三把椅子和一张桌子。大禹和卢堂右到那个房间没多久，舜王就来了，什么也没说，就开始看卢堂左的诉求状。随后，舜王放下诉求状就开始不停地写谈判的结果。然后她把批复递给了大禹。大禹看后，转交给了卢堂右。卢堂右看后，觉着没什么可说的。大禹就同意了。舜王就在招安协议书上签字盖章。
Hall-left Lu accompanied Big Yu to the imperial palace. The negotiation took place in an empty room furnished only with three chairs and a table. Shortly after Big Yu and Lu entered the room, Emperor Shun arrived. Without a word, she began examining Hall-left Lu's petition. Then, setting the petition aside, Emperor Shun proceeded to write down the terms of the agreement. She then handed the response to Big Yu. After reviewing it, Yu passed it to Hall-right Lu. Upon reading it, Lu found nothing to object to. Big Yu agreed. Emperor Shun then signed and sealed the amnesty agreement.

卢堂左看了赦免协议书后问大禹：“您觉着这样处理后，我们安全吗？”
大禹回答：“我觉着你们各自回家，没人会找你们的麻烦。”
卢堂左生气地把赦免协议书撕碎了，对大禹说：“那女人的几句花言巧语就把你给骗了。我不能把我们兄弟的命交给你！”
大禹慌忙地捡起了揉皱的协议书，回答：“你有什么不满意的，我们还可以继续商量！”
After reviewing the pardon agreement, Hall-left Lu asked Big Yu, "Do you think we're safe after this arrangement?"
Big Yu replied, "I think you can all go home; no one will bother you."
Hall-left Lu angrily tore the pardon agreement to shreds and said to Big Yu, "That woman's sweet talk fooled you. I can't entrust our brothers' lives to you!"
Big Yu hurriedly picked up the crumpled agreement and replied, "If you have any complaints, we can discuss it further!"
卢堂左和秀才他们几十人研究出来个方案。（1）舜王封大禹皇帝特使，全权负责处理卢堂左的反叛事件。（2）由皇帝特使大禹亲自销毁这三百多人的军事档案。（3）政府给每人15两银子的遣散费和保密费。以后这三百多人不准对别人说起这次反叛的内幕。（4）遣散后的三年内，这三百人不得有三人以上的聚会。卢堂左将对他们实施不定期的检查。
大禹同意了，说：“我们可以认为这是赦免协议的实施细节，把这几项加在以前谈判协议的后面。”
Hall-left Lu and Scholars, along with several dozen others, devised a plan.
(1) King Shun appointed Big Yu as the emperor's special envoy, giving him full authority to handle Hall-left Lu's rebellion. (2) The emperor's special envoy, Big Yu, personally destroyed the military records of these more than three hundred people. (3) The government would provide each person with 15 taels of silver as severance pay and a confidentiality fee. These three hundred-plus people were forbidden from revealing the details of the rebellion to others. (4) Within three years of their dispersal, these three hundred people were prohibited from gathering in groups of more than three. Hall-left Lu would conduct unscheduled inspections of them.
Big Yu agreed, saying, "We can consider these as the implementation details of the amnesty agreement and add them to the end of the previously negotiated agreement."

卢堂右又跟随大禹来到皇宫和舜王谈判。他们三人又去到了那间只有一个桌子和三把椅子的房间。舜王看见以前的赦免协议书是撕碎后拼接起来的，想了想，她就抄写了一份，做了一份新的赦免协议书。然后她把协议书和任命大禹为皇帝特使的委任状一同交给了大禹。
大禹带着卢堂右去到了天蓬元帅女婴的办公室。女英看了舜王給大禹的委任状，就领着他俩去到了档案室，命令档案馆的人听从大禹的指挥。
Hall-right Lu then followed Big to the palace to negotiate with King Shun. The three of them went to the room with only a table and three chairs. King Shun noticed that the previous pardon agreement was torn and pieced together. After thinking for a moment, she copied it and made a new pardon agreement. She then gave Yu the agreement along with the letter of appointment appointing him as the emperor's special envoy.
Big Yu took Hall-right Lu to the office of Sky Ceiling Marshal, Heroine. After reviewing the letter of appointment from King Shun to Big Yu, Heroine led them to the archives and ordered the archivists to follow Big Yu's instructions.

Big Yu ordered the archives staff to destroy all records pertaining to the Lu family army. He then led Hall-right Lu back to Heroine's office and declared to Heroine, “King Shun has appointed me as the Emperor's Special Envoy, granting me full authority to handle the rebellion. Look, here is the letter of appointment!”
Heroine replied, “I have already seen it and understand!”
大禹说：“我们的赦免协议中说了，要销毁全部卢家军的记录。除了国防部，别的地方还有没有卢家军的记录？”
女英回答：“皇宫里有一个特别的档案室，那里也有卢家军的档案。那个档案室就只有舜王，娥黄，和我，我们三人能进去。这么办吧，我领你去！”
Big Yu said, “Our amnesty agreement stipulates the destruction of all Lu Family Army records. Are there any such records stored elsewhere besides the Ministry of Defense?”
Heroine answered, “There is a special archive chamber within the palace containing Lu Family Army files. Only three individuals—King Shun, Beauty Yellow, and I—possess access to that chamber. Very well, I shall escort you there.”

卢家军被解散后，卢堂左和卢堂右被大禹送到了古墓---位于武汉古墓区的舜王的封地。
这天，这哥俩正懒洋洋地坐在湖边钓鱼呢，忽然感觉有人在墙头看他俩。邻居！这哥俩就过去问候。卢堂左惊讶地发现那个在墙头只露个脑袋的人是大禹叔叔，高兴地喊：“大禹叔叔来看我们了！”
大禹把孩子举到了墙上，示意这哥儿俩把孩子接过去。让这哥儿俩吃惊的是，大禹送过来五六个孩子。舜王也跟来了。
After the Lu family army was disbanded, Hall-left Lu and Hall-right Lu were sent by Big Yu to the ancient tomb—the fiefdom of King Shun located in Wuhan's ancient tomb district.
One day, the brothers were lazily fishing by the lake when they suddenly sensed someone watching them from atop the wall. A neighbor! The brothers went over to greet him. Hall-left Lu was astonished to see that the figure peering over the wall was none other than Uncle Big Yu. He exclaimed joyfully, “Uncle Big Yu has come to visit us!”
Big Yu lifted a child onto the wall, gesturing for the brothers to receive it. To their astonishment, Big Yu handed over five or six children. King Shun had also arrived.
